Evangeline Harris (Vocals)

Originally from Antigua, Evangeline grew up on the island of St. Croix until 1995 when she settled in Northern Virginia. She has performed with several R&B, jazz, and rock bands throughout the DC metropolitan area, including N2N, Signature Live, Common Ground, Groove Selective, DC Transit, and Dirty Little Secret. Although she has recorded three music albums, her most memorable performance was at a fundraising gala sponsored by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Project Foundation. She opened for Grammy Award winning artist BeBe Winans at an event that was emceed by ABC-7's news anchor Leon Harris. Later, her performance was broadcasted on the evening news.

Pete Kahn (Keys)

Pete's early rock and roll days were with December's Children who were lucky enough to open for many of the recording acts coming through DC including Jethro Tull, Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck group, Gladys Knight, and Jefferson Airplane. Later, Pete was a member of New England and DC bands, including Sadbird; the Touchtones, with the female blues duo Moore and Perrin and songwriter Jeremiah Samuels; then later the Rocknods. He currently gigs with the Fenderbenders and E&ME.

Steve Shillingford (Tenor & Alto Sax, Vocals)

Steve has had a passion for music his entire life. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, his father, a Jazz guitarist, introduced Steve to music at age eight. Steve would spend many weekend nights with his dad in smoke filled basements listening to him play guitar in small Jazz combos. Throughout elementary school, high school and college, Steve was a classically trained musician playing with a number of bands. He moved to Northern Virginia after college to pursue a career in law enforcement. After a hiatus of nearly 20 years, Steve pulled his Alto Sax out the closet and began playing again in early 2007. He currently plays classic rock with the Cover Up Band and Dirty Little Secret, and jazz with E&ME.

Devon Petty (Bass)

Devon hails from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands where he studied the trumpet and guitar before taking up the electric bass. At Dartmouth College, he played bass with the Barbary Coast Jazz Ensemble and other jazz/rock groups and wrote software for digital music systems while earning an integrated degree in computer science and music. Since moving to the DC area, he has played bass for several local groups, including the jazz ensemble Icarus. Devon cites Jaco Pastorius, Fred Hammond, Gary Willis, Pat Martino, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Bunny Brunel and Victor Wooten as musical influences.

Justin Pinkney (Percussion)

This Washington, DC area drummer has been playing drums since the age of 12, performing in churches, funk/R&B bands, gospel choirs and special engagements. At the age of 14 he attended Suitland High School's Visual and Performing arts program focusing on symphonic percussion and music theory. At the age of 22 he attended Jeff Antoniuk's Jazz Band Master Class in Annapolis Maryland. There he studied in jazz combo workshops and performed with his classmates in music festivals. Justin has put his education and experience to good use with local pop and gospel bands. This dynamic drummer has maintained a reputation of brilliant performance, versatility, and dedication to each project. He currently performs with the House of Echo, Crossroads Band for the Metropolitan United Methodist Church of Washington, D.C., and E&ME.
